Literature, Culture, and Transformation: A Journey Growing One Page at a Time

March 2025 marks another important milestone in my journey as a writer, editor, journalist, and cultural producer. In this new edition of the Alecrim Newspaper & Publishing House, I am delighted to see different aspects of my work united by a single purpose: to strengthen literature, encourage new writers, and expand access to culture throughout our region.

As a writer, Editor-in-Chief, and one of the directors of Alecrim Newspaper & Publishing House, I continue working to ensure that every edition is much more than a publication. Our goal is to create a media platform committed to promoting culture, tourism, gastronomy, the creative economy, and, above all, the authors who use writing as a powerful instrument of social transformation.

In this edition, we proudly present the Successful Writers Gallery, a space created to showcase independent authors, inspire new readers, and demonstrate that Brazilian literature is alive and thriving, producing outstanding works across a wide range of genres and regions. It is a great honor to be part of this initiative not only as an editor but also as an author, alongside dozens of writers who share the same dream of bringing their stories to readers.

Another special highlight is the announcement of the Afternoon of Joy, to be held at Espaço Higino. During this event, I will present my children's book, "The Secret of the Colorful Eggs", accompanied by a storytelling session and creative workshops designed for children and their families. I firmly believe that encouraging the love of reading from an early age is one of the most meaningful ways to build a future filled with imagination, empathy, and knowledge.

We also continue to strengthen the Alecrim Literary Circuit, bringing together writers through cultural gatherings that connect authors, readers, and spaces dedicated to art and literature. More than simply promoting book launches, our mission is to make literature part of everyday life by bringing it into public squares, cultural centers, cafés, schools, and other community spaces.

At the same time, we continue developing publishing projects, literary anthologies, and initiatives dedicated to supporting emerging authors. I believe that publishing a book should not be a privilege reserved for a few, but a real opportunity for everyone who wishes to share their stories, research, and experiences through writing.

Every page of this edition reflects the values I believe in: culture as a tool for human development, literature as a bridge connecting people, and collaborative work as the foundation for strengthening our regional identity.

I remain committed to writing, editing, producing, and promoting cultural initiatives with the same conviction that has guided me since the beginning of my career: every book published, every writer encouraged, and every reader inspired represents another opportunity to transform lives through the power of words.
